Your appeal PDF Print E-mail
If you decide to appeal against your conviction your chances of being granted an appeal are significantly lessened by originally pleading guilty to the charges against you. In our experience, the British Justice System is more about who to blame rather than fairness and finding the truth.

The military board, who could review their decision, will most likely not review their decision because it would mean admitting they were wrong and some people find it hard to admit when they have made a mistake. Your case will then go to the Court of Appeal where a single judge will consider your appeal.

Be careful to get your hopes up because, if you have plead guilty, your appeal is likely to be denied and you will not be granted a new trial. You could try handing in your appeal at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, France, if you feel your human rights were violated.
