With my dreams crushed I now hope to live in a country where the colour of my skin will not be an issue. As a Foreign National, my military medals and trophies will be left behind because this country will not allow me to collect them. Britain promotes democracy and human rights but do they "practice what they preach"? This has not been my experience.
My intention that night was to be a responsible Non-Commissioner Officer by opposing discrimination and defending myself and my guest, which I believe to be completely lawful.
This ordeal may have cost me my job, but it will never stop me from doing what is right. Integrity, respect and honour will be with me always and nothing in this world can take that from me.
