This is my story as I find myself in the midst of an unbelievable ordeal. I keep telling myself I will not allow this to destroy me and I will find a way to do what I love. As I feel that the colour of my skin has challenged my career, I am inspired to keep going by the words of my grandfather:
"If you treat other people the way you want to be treated, they will treat you the same, no matter what their background is, where they come from, if they are rich or poor, black, white or brown. If you respect them, they will respect you."
Life has proposed much adversity but positive thinking and hard work have been my driving force as I have always tried to commit my way to God.
