For many women, when your partner is in the army, life can be lonely and therefore it is great to partake in activities like joining a local sports club or maybe finding a course at the Volkshochschule (VHS).
Courses range from computers, cooking, languages to sports and travel. Just contact your local VHS and ask for their brochure. Course fees are very low and course lengths can vary from one day to a year.
There is a great variety of courses and activities on offer and it's a great way to make new friends.
